Rohan Ether Trousers on the road to Ouarzazate

Recently returned from a trip to Morocco driving from Jemaa el-Fnaa and the bougainvillea filled walled gardens of Marrakech through the High Atlas mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass with its roadside rock shops selling geodes and fossils to the passing coachloads of tourists, to Ouarzazate the film capital of Morocco at the edge of the Sahara desert.

Rohan clothing has always accompanied me on my adventures I have four pairs of Rohan Bags the oldest over twenty years old and still going strong. On this trip along with some old favourites I took a pair of Rohan’s Ether Trousers,

Aït Benhaddou

Over eighty pounds is a lot of money for a pair of trousers and I was a bit concerned about abrasion resistance on such a lightweight fabric at only 200g they are very light but after a week of hard wear on the road and hot rock they showed no signs of wear and tear and performed very well in average day time temperatures in excess of 30C.

Rover overlandAll the usual attention to detail and refinement I have come to expect from Rohan were in evidence, small pack size, zipped secure pockets, good fit and quick drying I managed to get them dry hung over the door of the Land Rover in just 90 minutes.
