Following last year’s successful Mend Our Mountains campaign, The British Mountaineering Council has launched an £1m project to help repair paths in Britain’s national parks.

Britain’s hills, mountains and National Park landscapes are a vital part of who we are. And our enjoyment of them is made possible by paths.

Most of us don’t think about the impact we have on the trails under our feet as we use them. But they are more vulnerable than many of us realise. And we all have a role to play in securing their future.
