Bakewell Farmers Market is back this weekend as is the ‘Dogs Unleashed’ event! Here in store we have our very own brand of excitement….yes you guessed it, new stock is starting to arrive. We have two new colours of our ever faithful Roamer trousers, I rather like the stonewash blue myself. Tomorrow sees the arrival of more new stock so be sure to pop in this weekend and catch a first glimpse of what’s coming in.

Still looking for something for Fathers Day? Why not pop in to Rohan Bakewell for a little inspiration, we have something to suit everyone. From the ever faithful socks (not just any socks, even insect repellant socks) to travel essentials, underwear to outerwear or simply a gift card so they can come and choose something themselves you won’t be dissappointed.

Well it’s a little damp and dreary in Bakewell at the moment but not to worry the sunshine is due back in time for the weekend! This weekend will also see the return of ‘Eroica Britannia’ a three day vintage cycling and family festival. This year there will be a swing night with big band sounds on Friday and a proms night on Sunday. Food, music, family entertainment and a choice of 30, 50 or 100 mile cycle routes should make for an interesting weekend.

Why not pop along to Rohan Bakewell whilst you’re here.

This week saw me put aside my trusty Roamers and long sleeved Strias in favour of my new Medan trousers and Essence Ts! You can’t rush these things. I have to say the Medans are really comfortable and light, so easy to wear. They get scrunched into my Bogs for the trek up the hill but still arrive at work crease free and ready to go. After walking home in the rain last night I thought that it would be interesting to see how long they took to dry, admitedly they weren’t that wet but I have to say they were almost drying as I walked through the door. I’m really pleased with them, they look rather nice with the Malay shirt too!

Birchover Open Gardens were fantastic last week, thank you to all the lovely people who welcomed us. We found some nice walks to go back too as well.

Hopefully the rain will hold off this weekend for the people in Stanton-in-Peak who will be opening their gardens this weekend. Well worth a visit if you’re passing.
