Directions to shop – We are located in central Nottingham on Friar lane, within sight of The Old Market Square. Friar Lane runs from the corner of The Square, look for Costa coffee and Burtons and heads up to Nottingham Castle. You will find us 100yds on the left. Broadmarsh and Victoria bus stations are both within 15mins walk of us. Nottingham is well serviced by out of town Park and rides. We are only 15-20 mins from Nottingham train station. Alternately you can catch the Tram from the station and get off at Market Square (2nd stop). Trams run from Hucknall & Phoenix Park in the north of the city to the train station. The route is serviced by a number of Park and Rides. There are two long stay car parks nearby. The NCP on St James’s St (near the Castle) and the Arndale on Maid Marion way. The Skylink airport bus runs every 30 mins and stops directly opposite our shop.
Staff Recommendations – Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem, reputed to be the oldest surviving Public house in England is within easy walk of us. Even closer & slightly more modern is Chocolate Utopia, a favourite stop for tea/coffee & of course chocolate with our customers.
Local Knowledge – Market Square has entertainment all year round, such as an Ice Rink, Giant Ferris Wheel, Farmers markets, German Markets, Fairground Rides, The Notiingham Riveira and a variety of Outdoor Concerts. More cultural entertainment can be found at the Theatre Royal & Concert Hall, Nottingham Playhouse & Albert Hall, the Nottingham Castle & the newly opened Art Gallery in the Lace Market.
For sporting fans the National Ice Arena is centrally located & south of the city we have two major football grounds Nottingham Forest and Notts County and the Trent Bridge Cricket ground.
Nottingham is a Mecca for shopping with 100’s of shops within easy reach of each other, including our two main shopping centers, Broadmarsh & Victoria.
