  1. Good Afternoon Everybody!
Well its a lovely Friday afternoon here in Hale and as I look around the village I can spot little signs of christmas popping up here and there! Costa Coffee have their usual festive egg nogg latte on offer and christmas decs up already! A couple of the shops have their outside christmas trees poised ready for being decorated and the christmas markets start in Manchester on Saturday!!! Woo Hoo!! So, the markets for me is a great place for stocking fillers, however, this year I am already sorted because of all the lovely gadgets we have here in Rohan! For instance…. first up we have the fabulous Nite Ize S-Biner in black or stainless steel, a multi functional Karabiner that doubles up as a bottle opener! V handy! :0) Next we have the Nite Ize KeyRack in stainless steel or multi coloured! Each key holder is a separate mini Karibiner for easy release when you dont need to take a big bunch of keys with you! Clever! Next w….. Tell you what, why dont you get down to the shop and take a look for yourselves, there’s something for everyone and you’ll never say….. ” If only I had….” again.

    Have a great weekend
    Rohan Johan and Elliott

  3. Who’s off to a bonfire tonight?
Well its looks like the weather in Hale is drying up a little which means you can go and get kitted up in your Superfine Merino baselayers, Neck tubes, Shivling gloves, Rannoch Hats and all your other top class ROHAN gear on and head for your nearest bonty! The nearest to ROHAN HALE is Bowdon Bonfire on South Downs Road WA14 3DT. Its in its 45th year and always really popular!
Toffee apples, parkin, treacle toffee and loads of other goodies to look forward to!
So look after yourselves and follow the firework code and lets hope we won’t have too many damp squibs!

  6. Well it’s been a little while since our last comment here in Hale, but we’re back!
Looking at the last entry from Rob in July, the weather was doing what it usually does in the height of summer in Britain…….Rain! But now here we are on the cusp of autumn and what do we find…The sun has got his hat on, lets shout hip hip hooray!

It’s an absolutely glorious Thursday here in Hale and the weather forecast for the weekend looks AMAZIN’. However due to the unpredictable nature of our wonderful climate in the UK it’s always wise to go off on your adventures well prepared.

So on Tuesday I went for a bike ride with my new Icepack Jacket in tow and now I would like to big it up!
Apart from the great look of this Rohan product the Jacket is really versatile. It’s lightweight, packable and clips to a belt or trouser tab for easy carriage. It comes with DWR (Durable Water Repellency…Got to use the terminology!) a water resistant finish that is great in showers and drys quickly too (as I found out!).
The jacket is filled with Insuloft which when wet doesnt get heavy like down (a bonus when out on my bike!). At the end of my trip I stopped for a cuppa in Dunham Massey and after cooling off a little I put my Icepack back on and set off for home! The jacket kept me warm, dry and it was easy to pack and carry without having to take my rucksack or paniers. Fantastic!
