Campaign for National Parks has just launched 2016 Park Protector Award

Campaign for National Parks is a national charity dedicated to campaigning to protect and promote all of the National Parks of England and Wales.

The Park Protector Awards are open to groups or individuals who are delivering projects, campaigns, or activities in one or more of the National Parks in England and Wales. If you involved in or know about a fantastic a project which has conserved or contributed to the biodiversity, restored the natural or built heritage or successfully protected an area. Then you could win a £2000 bursary to develop the project.

Last year’s winning project was Fell Futures

To win the award, you need to: demonstrate impact, excellence in management and delivery, innovation such as using new technologies, engagement of volunteers and development and dissemination of best practice.

The nominations are open until Sunday 3 July 2016.
