Brathay 10 in 10 one marathon isn’t enough

Brathay 10 in 10

One marathon clearly isn’t enough for some people!

“Starting on 13th May 2016, 11 incredible people will begin running the Brathay 10-in-10 (ten Marathons in ten days around England’s largest lake) finishing with the Brathay Windermere Marathon and ‘Family Fun Day’ at Brathay on 22nd May. Between them they aim to raise over £30,000 to support Brathay’s work with children and young people.

“An epic challenge that will require an epic strength of mind”
Bear Grylls – Adventurer & Everest climber

Legendary fell runner Joss Naylor, MBE, will be supporting the event as Patron of the 10in10. Joss fires the starting gun on the runners’ first marathon and will be on the finish line to welcome them back after running 262 miles over 10 days.

The event is held to raise funds to support Brathay Trust’s work to improve the life chances of children and young people, by inspiring them to engage positively in their communities.

Brathay recognise that children and young people face many challenges in their day to day lives. We work with some of the most vulnerable and ‘hard-to-reach’, helping them to develop the confidence, motivation and skills they need to unlock their potential and make positive changes in their lives.

How you can show your support:

Wave, clap or cheer – this is what keeps them going!

Show them some love – look out for their logo/fluorescent jackets.

Make a donation in the collection box in store at Rohan Ambleside.
