All First buses at some point will cross or travel through, Union Street/Bridge Street/Union Terrace. You can see St Nicholas church from all of these points. We are next to this.
Rohan Aberdeen shop opened in July 2005. There are cobbled roads and partly pedestrianised areas around our shop. Low level Granite and stone buildings. And we have 4 churches (only one being used for that purpose!) which surround us.
Staff Recommendations - Lots of great sandwich/coffee shops within a 5 minute walk of our store, from the main shopping areas to the more laid back, trendy Belmont street. A particular favourite is Books and Beans on Belmont Street where you can have a coffee and a fine piece over your morning newspaper, inside or out enjoying the unique Aberdeen – four seasons in one day – climate! Also a couple of great bars on Belmont street, are Revolution and Slains Castle (old Gothic-looking church), where you can enjoy a tasty bar meal and something stronger than a coffee to help you through your busy day!
Local Knowledge – Aberdeen, The Ganite City is Europe’s oil capital. It has a great vibrant retail scene and the fantastic Union Street which runs right through the middle of the city centre. Union Terrace Gardens is one of the few green spaces you will find in a city of this size in the UK and a great place to unwind come summertime.
Aberdeen beach is a lovely day out with lots to do for all the family.
Royal Deeside is a 30 minute drive away with the Cairngorm Mountain range just beyond.
Aberdeenshire is called Castle Country for a reason. Head in any direction and one should appear on the horizon within a few miles!
In the city centre there’s the Art Gallery, His Majesty’s Theatre and the Maritime Museum all within a short stroll.
