Directions to shop – Our shop is situated on the A65 and is easily accessed by car. The Morcambe/Carlisle to Leeds train stops in the village a few times a day and the shop is a scenic 5 minute walk from the train station. Also the local Pennine bus service runs hourly from Skipton to Settle and the bus stop is just outside the shop.

Rohan Long Preston Opened in 1983. The building is a two storey converted barn made from Yorkshire stone which used to be a barn for the auction mart which was held on the May Pole green opposite in the late 1800’s early 1900’s.
This was the first Rohan shop to open and also holds a clearance section as well as full price.

Staff Recommendations – The Maypole opposite the shop is an old village pub with a generous menu of local home cooked food and CAMRA Award winning ale! If you just fancy a light snack or a packet of crisps the local Post Office has a Tea Room and is also a well stocked Village Shop.

Local KnowledgeLong Preston is a small scenic village in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.
There are several walks varying in distance in and around the village which staff members will be happy to give directions for.

We are opposite the May Pole Green which is famous for the May Day dancing each year.
This year is the 40th anniversary on the first bank holiday Saturday of May.
The local children will be dancing around the May Pole and the 40th May Queen will be crowned. Its a joyous day for family’s with entertainment held on the local playing field afterwards. Always worth a trip out!
