  1. The Woodbridge Regatta was yesterday. A great success by all accounts – what I saw of it early on was very promising.

Next rendezvous is the Woodbridge Carnival starting at 4pm. on Saturday July 4th.with a procession through Woodbridge (passing in front of Rohan here) and finishing at the Abbey School grounds on Cumberland Street.

From 5pm onwards there will be music & entertainment, games, activities and stalls. Later in the evening there will be fireworks.

This year celebrates the 500th anniversary of Thomas Seckford, a local worthy strongly linked to Woodbridge. There is Seckford Street on which you will find The Seckford Alms Houses, he also set up Woodbridge School amongst other good deeds.

It should be a good day out and a great opportunity to visit Rohan Woodbridge.

    See you soon.
