Recycle Week 2015 – Outdoor Gear Reuse & Recycling

Recycle Week 2015 - 22-28th June

This year Recycle Week in the UK is taking place from 22nd – 28th June 2015.

The theme is ‘recycling around the home’. The idea is to get us all thinking about all the items we can recycle from around the home that we might not previously have thought about recycling.

For many of us that will include outdoor gear of all types, shapes and sorts.

We thought it might be helpful to create a list of current initiatives that are involved in recycling outdoor gear in the UK. If you know of any please add them in the comments below and we will put them on the list. If you spot recycling bins for outdoor gear in an outdoor shop please let us know in the comment below. Send a photo to info@rohantime.com or via Facebook or Twitter

Thank you.

As a trekking enthusiast I support that initiative! Often, outdoor equipment costs too much and donating your stuff, usually in decent condition, cost you nothing but is really useful to someone else!

  2. Michelle says:

Great stuff! Sugru also have really good recycling ideas on their Instagram page
