Rohan Ambleside's 'Low Wood No Wood' Entry

The second annual ‘Low Wood No Wood’ cardboard boat race is on Saturday 17th May 2014.

All proceeds go to The Calvert Trust.

The team at Rohan Ambleside have been busy planning what their cardboard boat entry for the ‘Low Wood No Wood’ boat race would look like for a few weeks. It’s now beginning to take shape. The ‘cardboard boat race’ involves teams with their ‘taped cardboard’ creations doing head to head time trials with prizes for the fastest and most creative entries.

‘It’s not the winning that matters it’s the taking apart that counts!’

It’s now beginning to take shape.

Our team captain Nathan said ‘it’s not the winning that matters it’s the taking apart that counts!’ Nathan was of course referring to the destruction derby finale where the highly technical crafts get a proper send off at the end of the race.
