This year in Rohan

 

As you can all imagine the last year has not been the easiest for Rohan commercially. However, we survived it and the business even grew. That would have been impossible without the loyalty of our customers who always seem willing to try something new from us even when you have a wardrobe full.

I know I speak for everyone here when I say that Rohan customers really are special. So thank you and watch this space because we aren’t backing off.

    Pleased to read that you are doing well in these troubled times. Since my first pair of bags in your formative years, I like to think I have played some role in the fully justified success of Rohan. My earlier career at sea as a ship’s Captain, together with a passion for climbing, walking and yacht racing when on leave ensured regular climate change as does my current work in marine insurance and claims investigation around the world. Only Rohan will handle getting onto a plane in Dubai at +25 degrees and getting off it in Canada 18 hours later at -25 degrees still looking and feeling presentable.

    Dear David Jones, thanks for the note about Wikipedia. We agree. Last time we updated it with amongst other things a list of our achievements over the years, someone took it out. That’s the trouble with an open-to-everyone format like Wiki. (It’s great in most ways, of course.) As a commercial company are we – dare I say it – suffering a little bit from envy or even sabotage from other parties?? I’m not losing any sleep over it anyway, even if we are..!     If you look at the Rohan entry on Wikipedia I think you will agree that it could be improved.
    That could be done by Rohan and/or by customers.
    At present it does not do justice to the company or the products, in my opinion.

    I am really pleased to hear you are doing well. I am not sure it is simply a case of being loyal though. I keep seeing first rate technical and useful clothing. That is ultra reliable, and fit for purpose. Crucially this is allied to an equally good service, either at the stores (cheers Simon @MK) or mail order. Good products, good people: loyal customers.

    Besides what would I wear if not Rohan! I can go for weeks and wear only Rohan.

    Dear Colin, as long as you keep on making high quality clothing, we will continue to buy it! Rohantime has been a great success from what I have seen, my thanks to Tim and your team for putting it together. Now if we could just get all the trousers in a decent (36″) length we will be sorted!
