The Rohan Keswick Team have got together to share with us their current favourite Rohan garments and the garment at the top of their wish list.
Please share your wish list in the comment below.
“My favourite Rohan garment has to be the Trailblazer trousers. They feel great on and with the 4-way stretch they are great for walking and a bit of scrambling. A fantastic spring/summer trouser” Simon – Rohan Keswick
Current Favourite – Gradient Fleece
This jacket has kept me nice and warm working in the shop and has performed brilliantly out on the fells. It’s tough, comfortable, virtually windproof and highly breathable, it has become my first choice hillwalking jacket.
Most Wanted – Windrider Jacket
Some things you just know you simply have to have from the second you see them! That’s precisely what happened when the Windrider Jacket came into stock. I will definitely be getting one of these for keeping poor weather at bay when out cycling and for keeping the chill out during the obligatory coffee/cake stops
Current Favourite – Dry Roamers
It is a fantastic trouser for wet weather days but also brilliant for a cold, dry and snowy winters’ day too. I personally found them warmer than my Striders which really surprised me.
Most Wanted – Wayfarer Jacket
I have been wanting and looking for this type of jacket for a couple of years. The Wayfarer Jacket is a smart, well fitted jacket, the cut on this jacket is a fabulous fit and I will get a massive amount of use out of it. So much so that I might have to treat myself to it sooner than I thought…
Current Favourite – Linen Plus Jacket
A very well designed smart/casual jacket with lots of attention to detail. It has a lovely natural hand feel but with all the technical benefits you’d expect from a Rohan garment. A good, practical length and highly crease resistant. I wear mine as a suit (with the Linen Plus Trousers) and also more casually with the Jeans Plus.
Most Wanted – Windshadow Mac
Another technical garment disguised as an urban looking coat. It’s fully windproof and highly shower resistant – ideal for those will it/won’t it rain? days. It’s packability and weight make it perfect for lightweight travel – a must for me!
Current Favourite – Elite Jacket
Hmm…my all time favourite, that’s a hard call as there are more than a few! I’d have to say the Elite Jacket. From the flattering fit to it’s lightness, it’s perfect for me, whether out on the fells or when travelling light.
Most Wanted – Trailblazers
I’ve got my eye on the Trailblazers as they are comfortable, stretchy and perfect for my frame. They are great for travelling in hot climates and rolling up into a small bundle.
Current Favourite– Superfine Merino range
It’s very difficult for me to choose because I have so many favourites. But I do have an affinity (oh, that’s one of our jackets!) to the superfine merino range, I’ve been living in it! It’s a cosy layer of warmth against my skin without ever feeling over-heated. The leggings work well under my walking trousers when I’m up high on the fells. I have even left it on, slept in it and worn it the next day! In fact you can wear it for days without it whiffing too much…honest!
Most Wanted – Windshadow Mac
It has got to be the new Windshadow Mac. I seem to have everything else I need! I already own two Windshadow jackets which I find ideal for running. I get really hot when running, even in cold weather and this minimal yet highly effective, protective outer layer does the trick. The Mac, with its extra length is also quite a fashion item. As patience is not a virtue of mine, I will definitely be adding to my Windshadow collection (and credit card bill!) much sooner than I should!
Current Favourite – Trailblazers
My favourite Rohan garment has to be the Trailblazer trousers. They feel great on and with the 4-way stretch they are great for walking and a bit of scrambling. A fantastic spring/summer trouser!
Most Wanted – Elite Jacket
With summer on the way, at the top of my wish list has to be the Elite Jacket. In fact, I would have to get the Elite Overtrousers to complete the set! It’s no surprise to me that the Elite Jacket won ‘Best in Test’ in Trail magazine as it’s by far the best fitting and lightest, lightweight waterproof I’ve tried on!
A big thank you to Christeen and all the team.
