The Sun Shines on Belfast

David Alleston (Area Manager), Cathy McHugh, Julie Somerville, Lindsay Kerr, Chelsea Hamilton, Emilie Bowers and Bruce Cairns (Manager)
Rohans first shop on the Island of Ireland opened on Saturday 12th September 2009.
Bruce Cairns manager of Rohan Belfast and his team opened the door of the new shop at 15 Wellington Place on a bright, cloudless Autumn day. The city looked fantastic, vibrant and boyant. A steady stream of well wishers and long standing Rohan customers made their way to Wellington Place to check out the new Rohan shop in their city.
The Rohan shop is in a great location. In the main shopping area, easy to get to and with plenty of parking the local South Belfast bus stops right outside the shop. The area is well supplied with great coffee shops. I visited the new Rohan shop just before lunch and was spoilt for culinary choice with great pavement cafes and the special addition of entertainemnt from three young street musicians one playing a harp – the result was enchanting. The sun shone and I noticed a number of Rohan customers enjoying the warm Belfast day.
During the morning Bruce told me of his experience in the travel industry which is extensive. He is keen to make all that experience and knowledge available to Rohan customers. So if you are considering a trip call in and have a chat with Bruce who will be happy to advise and of course recommend the best Rohan clothing for your trip.
The new Autumn/Winter range is on display in the shop. The Hilltop Jacket and Kosie Jacket and Vest – will be on my wishlist.
I left Belfast with a very warm feeling. Its a great city with plenty of things to see and do.

I’m slightly startled to see that Bruce might be my unknown twin brother! See:
