Rohan Winchester Helps Hospital Heroes
You may remember a few months ago when we started our Stridefit that we had four nurses from the Royal Hampshire County Hospital here to take part. They were in training for a walk up Kilimanjaro in December in aid of the local hospital’s Magic Wand Appeal to raise money for the children’s ward. This was featured on Rohantime, along with the above picture of us, the nurses and the Matt Roberts instructors.
As part of the same charity, they held a Fashion Show at the local Holiday Inn and Rohan was included in the show. The evening went really well; with some 200 attending, we met up with many Rohan Winchester customers on our ‘stand’ before the show and the clothes were received really well. The four Kili nurses modelled the clothes and did a fantastic job. During the break we again had some good feedback and the Kili nurses promised to come into the shop next week to purchase some of what they had tried on, as they liked it so much.

Jeff also mentioned he ran the Great South Run on Sunday for the same charity and raised £100 from customer donations taken in the shop. A Big Thank you to all who donated. More on this later.
