Rohan Riders – Thanks for your help so far!
We are STILL working on a new cycle wear range!
It never gets easier, you just go faster. Greg Lemond
Well we asked for your help and we certainly got it. There’s been a great discussion on the Rohantime Forum and plenty of comments on email, phone calls and even good old face to face in the shops. Read the first Rohan Riders post here.
What we thought might be true seems to be: cyclists are a varied, passionate and opinionated bunch. Quite right too.
What sort of cycling do you do?
What do you wear and what do you not?
What are your favourite bike clothes and how could they be improved?
What would you like to see in a Rohan cycle clothing range?
We got (amongst other things):
Whatever you do don’t do lycra.
Do do lycra.
Don’t strip things back to the bare minimum/do strip things back to the bare minimum.
Make the fit generous. And slim.
Make it suitable for touring/commuting/racing/sportives/recumbents/cross country/downhill mountain biking/around town/around the world.
Make it brightly coloured for safety. Don’t make it brightly coloured, just ride safely.
Hoods/pockets are unnecessary. Hoods/pockets are essential.
We were reminded of the meaning of MAMIL and introduced to a great new phrase “Rohan Blues” (I don’t think that’s “the blues” I think it’s Bags in Ink…)
So what we need now is a final push to help us sort all this out. And try to please everyone (some hope!) or at least some of the people some of the time.
LAST CHANCE TO VOTE!

Life is like a ten speed bicycle. Most of us have gears we never use. Charles M. Schulz
