Did you watch BBC2 Wed 17th August The Wildest Dream: Conquest of Everest?
An exploration of George Mallory’s fatal bid to climb Mount Everest in 1924, told through the photographs, re- enactments and archive footage. Mountaineers Leo Holding and Conrad Anker tried to reach the summit by the same route.
Whilst the film delivered 90 minutes of great photography it has raised a number of questions.
