Recently Rohan Guildford ran a competition in the Surrey Wildlife Trust magazine. The winner of the £100 of Rohan gift vouchers was Mrs Ann Sprigings from Ripley, Surrey
Mrs Ann Sprigings – “I still can’t believe my luck in winning the Rohan giftvouchers in the Surrey Wildlife Trust draw – thank you very much indeed. I look forward to spending them.
Since my first purchase of Rohan clothing, in 1995, I think, I’ve been a devotee. That was a pair of Trekkers trousers, which have taken me to Everest Base Camp (well, actually, Kala Patar), amongst other places, including many enjoyable days on British hills. They’re still doing service on Wildlife Trust days when felling trees – small ones! – and feeding bonfires.
I like Rohan clothing because it is lightweight and dries so quickly, has lots of zipped pockets, is very functional whilst looking understatedly good, making it very adaptable, and it packs well even in a rucsac. Just two pairs of trousers(both Rohan) sufficed on a six week New Zealand holiday including several multi-day treks. Latterly, those zipped pockets have proved a boon while looking after my toddler grandchildren; one never seems to have enough hands, so to be able to dispense with a bag is great. All round useful, and very durable!
It’s wonderful that Rohan Guildford supports Surrey Wildlife Trust in its care of our local and precious countryside. Thank you once again”.
