Bike workshop with mechanic and Rohan enthusiast Adrian Lawson
For the last few years Rohan cyclists have got together to take part in annual charity bike rides. London to Brighton (54 miles) Oxford to Cambridge (90 miles) & this years London to Cambridge (Sunday 24th July 2011, 60 miles). These events raise vital money for charity whilst all challenging the cyclists and prove to be a lot of fun.
Whilst taking part in Oxford to Cambridge ride, the team met Adrian Lawson (mechanic on the day) our guardian angel. Adrian kept our bikes in order to get us to the finish of what was a challenging 90 mile ride (made harder with torrential rain and high winds) Adrian was wearing Rohan (has done since the very early days of Rohan) and very quickly a friendship formed.
The Events Team held a Bike Workshop at head office for all those taking part in the London to Cambridge Bike Ride, here Adrian serviced all 10 bikes throughout the day. He also shared his knowledge and experience with the team, giving tips and demos.
Adrian has worked as part of the mechanic team on the Tour de France, he cycles sections of the great tour, slowly but surely making his way around the coast of the UK. Adrian wear tests for Rohan on his many tours and is a great ambassador for the brand.
Charlotte Lewis “Adrian was a great person to show the early design protos to of the Rohan cyclewear garments for Spring Summer 2012”.
Adrian “Thanks for a very enjoyable day. I felt very privileged to see Rohan behind the scenes”
