It was a pleasure meeting so many happy “Rohanists” who stayed in our hotel or came to our catering marquee at the Rohantime Dunster event.
You are really lucky to be part of such a wonderful “family” and come rain or shine you were here to enjoy yourselves.
Your zest for life has won you many new friends here in Dunster and we look forward to welcoming you again in the future

We had a brilliant weekend – thank you so much to all who worked so hard to facilitate, plan, organise and host the event. We really enjoyed all of the wide range of activities, the inspirational speakers, the fun of the vintage bus and train ride, and of course the polished performance of the Illegal Eagles. It was good to meet new people and the whole weekend was superb fun – what a treat!

What a lovely weekend . Bit late in adding comment sorry! but my sister Pauline and I had the most brilliant weekend , didnt stop laughing once , not even when my airbed went down or the tent collapsed ok only half of it but how could I complain when we had spent the afternoon listening to explorers telling us about the rigours of surviving temperatures of minus 32c and winds of a 100 miles an hour !!! . The whole time was an great experience, food good, company good, talks brill and the Ileagle Eagles wonderful. Will deffo go on next one thanks to all involved in putting together the weekend. Dear Becky and Andy and the rest of the Rohan Team and all who came to Dunster. It was great to see you all here on Exmoor and I am glad that you all had such a good weekend. Jill (see Becky’s comment) and I were both hugely impressed with how proffesional Rohan were in every aspect of the organisation. I spent some time at the event in the evenings and on the bikes on Saturday afternoon and enjoyed meeting many of you.
I do hope that those of you new to Exmoor will come again and that those of you who have been before have been reminded how special a place this is.

Tremendous. From start to finish it was just tremendous. Both my brother and myself felt the same. I think I’d had my money’s worth by Friday night! Then ballooning, archery, the food….very special weekend. Haven’t laughed so much, and with so many different people, in years – probably since college over thirty years ago.
Your own Rohan staff were lovely, bright, intelligent and non-pushy; giving an extremely good image of company philosophy.
You deserved the strong mention from Alistair MacDonald. I am now a confirmed Rohan fan.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the Rohan team at Dunster last weekend. We had a great time. The choice of speakers for both nights was excellent. The food could not be faulted. We made some new fiends and caught up with some old friends as well. Dunster shop staff made us very welcome. All in all we had a weekend we will remember for ever. Thank you Mr Fisher and all the Rohan team.

  7. Paul & Nicola Carroll says:

Team Rohan, Thanks for the marvellous weekend at Dunster. Organisation was spot on and it was good to meet other enthusiasts. The activities were just right and you picked well with the tentage supplier and the caterers. The speakers’ presentatations were all informative and inspiring. Alistair Macdonald was right to publicly thank you as a company for looking after your customers.
Colin Fisher was an excellent host and meeting Sarah and Tim Jasper to talk about Rohan past, present and future products was a great opportunity. The whole event must have taken a lot of work and we appreciate it. We would certainly sign up for another next year.

So many thanks required for this event…Dunster Castle thank you for granting permission for the event (special mention to Jill for not only being super efficient but also promising to be on stand by as a potential birthing partner). Thanks also to the catering team for providing great food on time every time. John Beatty, Monty Don, Leo Dickinson & Alistair MacDonald – class acts one and all. ‘Good luck Mr Gorsky’ I am sure is being re-told around the country! The Illegal Eagles what superb musicians, performing in what may prove to be their most unusual venue ever. To the team – Phil, Laura, Jane, Emily, Adrian, big John & Isaac thanks for your relentless hardwork. Special mention to Andy who now counts all of our suppliers & many customers as friends due to his delightful manner & efficiency.

A massive thankyou to all involved in organising the Rohan Dunster weekend. We both had a fantastic weekend, not to mention a lovely break from our two children! Still a bit saddlesore from the mountain biking on the saturday afternoon but what a ride. We never thought that we’d be cycling with John Beatty either! Sunday morning’s trip was spot on too, brings out the inner-child in all of us, everyone clambering for a front seat on the open top double deckers & ignoring the grey skies! Well done Rohan, please, please can we come on another one soon?
