Cliffhanger Returns 2-3 July 2011
The Cliffhanger outdoor festival returns to Sheffield on 2 July with the most exciting and invigorating outdoor pursuits for a two-day extravaganza in Millhouses Park near Sheffield, one of Sheffield’s biggest green spaces, from 2-3 July.
Billed as ‘The UK’s Biggest Outdoor Event For Outdoor People’. Some 20,000 visitors are expected at Cliffhanger, which celebrates its fifth birthday this July, and for those coming from further afield there is camping on offer just two miles away from the festival at BaseCamp – the official Cliffhanger campsite.
The aim of the event is to Inspire & Involve. Featuring competitions and professional demonstrations in rock climbing, orienteering, kayaking, mountain biking, running, mountain boarding, skateboarding, slacklining, adventure racing and more, visitors are able to watch incredibly talented sports-people of all ages at the top of their game, and then take part in the very sports they have just been inspired by.
