Wild Vision 2011 Reviews and Feedback

John Beatty long time friend of Rohan is now on the road with fantastic evenings of stories and images from his journeys into the wilderness. Check out a venue near you below.
john beatty 2011” Wow! The first three shows are underway. Swansea, Wakefield and Durham done so far….what a lovely surprise it has been. Great audiences and lots of email responses from Rohanists and other members of the audience saying hello. Rohan store staff have supported each event so well, it is very encouraging and just part of the Rohan brand atmosphere I’ve come to expect. There is also a tremendous response from the Prize Draw we run during each performance…Rohan are offering a £100 voucher for clothing plus a signed copy of my new book Wild Vision , A Celebration of the Natural World… every night! – John Beatty

A selection of feedback:

From Swansea:

“My husband and I really enjoyed the evening. We found the presentation extremely interesting and informative especially as we had visited Svalbard and Greenland. It was great to see the superb photographs and hear about such an interesting life. I am now looking forward to being able to read the book and see the photographs”

From Wakefield

“Thank you for a wonderful evening. Your photography is stunning and the visual presentations with your son’s music were so lovely. I am a keen photographer and I hope I have absorbed some of your wonderful eye to help me improve”.

Thank you so much for letting us share in your amazing travels and I am sure the rest of your tour will go as successfully as last night’s.

From Durham:

“I attended your talk last night at the Durham Gala Theatre. I would like to congratulate you on such an amazing talk and slideshow, it left me speechless which is usually quite hard to do”.

“I have been studying a Foundation Degree in Photography for the last 2.5 years and I am finally on the last semester, before starting the course my passion was wildlife and macro photography, although I  had never really put meaning into my imagery, the teaching I have received has now opened my mind to visual language…somewhere in the last couple of years I have lost my way…your talk last night reignited the passion I once had for nature, this time it is different, it is more intense because I finally realise why I love it so much and your talk put everything into place”.

From Bristol:
“I so enjoyed your presentation at St George’s last night. Many thanks indeed.

Many of your favourite places are mine also – Spitzbergen, South Georgia, North West Scotland and, of course, Africa…I go out with my camera sometimes without any preconceptions or plans and just try to look for the unusual. You have certainly encouraged me to do this more often as well as to try to capture images during the golden times”.
