World Forestry Day Celebrate Our Forests

The Forest Campaigns’ Network which was formed on February 28, 2011 to speak with one voice to keep our forest in public hands and publicly run by the Forestry Commission is promoting Celebrate Our Forests day across England on March 20, on the eve of World Forestry Day.

38 Degrees plans to list events country-wide where the public will be encouraged to demonstrate just how much their forests mean to them, with rambles, cycle rides, picnics, rallies and more being organised. Full list on Get-together Central which contains some great gatherings from a tree-planting celebration in Keswick to cycling and barbecue in the Forest of Dean.

What can we do on World Forestry Day? Celebrate World Forestry Day by visiting your local forests and learning more about the many contributions they make to our well-being. Check out the list and events in England Scotland and Wales
