The hills are alive with the sound of music

The National Mountain Centre, Plas y Brenin based in Capel Curig, is offering outdoor enthusiasts and musicians a weekend celebration of mountain walking and acoustic music. The Big Acoustic Walk weekend is 12-13 February.

Friday night will see a jam session with fellow enthusiasts in the centre’s bar. Saturday will be spent on the hills. An open mike evening will offer the chance for fellow walkers to demonstrate their acoustic guitar, banjo, mandolin and ukulele skills.

Cost is £150, which includes all your meals, a comfy bed for Friday and Saturday evening, two days guided walking in one of the most stunning locations in the UK, and a couple of great evenings of acoustic music.

So why not stuff your Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin or Ukulele in your rucksack or your harmonica into your pocket and get your voice in tune for ‘The Big Acoustic Walk’.
